Last Night

 Last night

There she was,

She came when the dark sea of sky darkened my spirit,

She was there, she came to me, to save me,

when the nostalgia had me overwhelmed

Her hands were still so soft,

Her eyes, like the moon reflected on the water,

illuminated my solitude…

It was her, with her small and naked feet and with her purple dress,

like the last time I saw her;

It was her, with her soft voice and sweet smile,

The waves of her hair,

brown, long, with fragrance of morning in the middle of the night,

They were playing with the air, with the breeze,

It was her last night, and it was me with her;

My beating chest and my innocence gazed at her,

I did not know what to say, I did not know,

And I remembered, I had loved her,

I remembered, I still loved her…

with amazement and without the care that the fragility of her soul needed of me;

It is true,

I did not know how to love her sometimes…

I loved her too much sometimes, with passion and emotion,

with folly and illusion, inexperienced,

I felt tired but not without dreams,

I run and dreamed for her,

And other times with insecurity,

It is true,

I did not know how to lover sometimes,

I kept love, as it was taught to me,

I kept love, as if I was going to keep her in that way

I kept words, I kept kisses;

I loved her in silence other times.

My lord, I loved her…

But again, she was there,

With me, for me,

And this time, I would not lose her,

This time, I would tie her heart to my arms as a shipwreck clings to a balsa wood,

I promised myself,

I would not love her soul without care…

And I loved her another night,

As we had ever dreamed,

And I loved her,

And the hope filled my spirit,

And so strong,

As the sigh of life given to my heart by her breath on my chest,

My hope, dark herald,

The cold horse rider of my faith,

Let me die again,

I was dreaming,

It was more than a year,

And I was an ocean away of her lips.
